ith today’s hectic pace and a struggle for quality family time, sometimes it is difficult to find time to get a tan. Airbrush Tanning is a completely UV Free way of obtaining a beautiful, natural looking tan all year long.

In just one ten minute session, we can give you results comparable to multiple days in the sun or a tanning bed.

Airbrush tanning is done with a handheld airbrush gun. Our natural sunless tanning solution is sprayed on with a light mist; the result is a tan with superior, even coverage. The tanning process takes anywhere from 2-24 hours to completely develop and can last an average of 7-10 days.

Spray tanning will also disguise many skin "imperfections" such as cellulite, stretch marks, viens, etc. Many clients look and feel slimmer after being sprayed. Spray tanning is a great solution for looking your best for special events such as weddings, proms, or even just that special date.

If travel is required outside of the lower mainland please contact us for a quote, if you are hosting a group tanning party of 5 people or more we will waive the Travel and Set-up charges for clients in the lower mainland.

Preparation and Consultation

To prepare for your upcoming tanning session make sure your skin is free of any moisturizers, lotions, creams, oil or make-up before we arrive!

We also recommend that you exfoliate your skin to remove all dead skin cells prior to our arrival. For the tanning session wear a dark bikini or any undergarment which will give you the desired tan lines. Of course, you may undress completely if you prefer no tan lines at all. Remember to have a change of clothes ready to slip into immediately after tanning (dark, loose clothing is best).

Before we begin airbrushing we'll help you choose a skin tone and recommend procedures and products to help you maintain your new tan, as well as the health of your skin.

Airbrush Tanning

Applying our specially blended tanning formula is easy with our professional airbrush. Our formula is not a dye and will not rub off on your clothes or wash off in the pool. It fades gradually, just like a suntan, and usually lasts up to two weeks, depending on your skin.

Our formula includes a bronzer - a temporary coloring agent - which allows us to immediately see an approximation of the skin tone you will have once the tanning agent (DHA) takes effect about 8 hours after application. Without the bronzer our tanning experts would be applying the formula blind, since it takes time for the actual, golden tan to be seen. The bronzer is meant to wash off, leaving behind a deep, bronze skin tone.

Our tanning formula contains an active ingredient called dihydroxyacetone (DHA), a colorless sugar that darkens the skin through staining. DHA, reacts with amino acids in the outermost layer of the skin, producing color changes in the dead surface cells found there. As these dead skin cells naturally wear off, the color gradually fades, just like a genuine sun tan.

After Care

Wait at least 8 hours before showering or rinsing your body after your tan is applied. At your first shower after tanning, expect about 25% - 30% of the tan to wash off. This is normal and helps blend in any dark areas. We recommend you wear dark, loose clothing immediately following your tanning session, until your first shower. And keep a towel handy around the house and in the car, since the bronzer (temporary coloring) may rub off.

Your new tan is now complete. It will fade slowly over the next week or two. Make sure to moisturize your skin after every shower and, if you're going outside in the sun, apply sun block as you normally would to protect your skin from the sun's harmful UV rays. Keep your skin healthy and your tan will look better and last longer.
